Fadi A. Haddad, M.D, FIDSA is a highly skilled physician with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. He specializes in infectious diseases and is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest-quality care. Dr. Haddad is known for his compassionate approach and his ability to connect with his patients on a personal level. He stays up to date with the latest advancements in medicine to ensure his patients receive the best possible treatment. He is the epidemiologist and head of the antimicrobial stewardship program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He is dually certified by the American Board of Infectious Diseases and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

 

He completed an Internal Medicine residency in 2001 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey, and an Infectious Diseases fellowship in 2003 at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. His practice focuses on infectious diseases in different settings, especially caring for patients with multidrug-resistant organisms. He founded the Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He has co-authored several papers on various infectious disease topics.  He appeared in many media interviews on different infectious disease topics affecting the San Diego community. He was voted a top San Diego infectious disease doctor in 2015, 2017, 2021, 2023, and 2026. He is married with four children. He enjoys writing, painting, playing chess, and sports.
