Dr. Haddad

Fadi A. Haddad, M.D, FIDSA is a highly skilled physician with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. He specializes in Infectious Diseases and is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care. Dr. Haddad is known for his compassionate approach and his ability to connect with his patients on a personal level. He is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medicine to ensure that his patients receive the best possible treatment. He is the epidemiologist and head of the antimicrobial stewardship program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He is dually certified in both the American Board of Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.
 
He completed a residency in Internal Medicine in 2001 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey, and completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases in 2003 at New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York. His practice is focused on infectious diseases in different settings especially the care of patients with multidrug-resistant organisms. He founded the Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He has co-authored several papers on different topics in infectious diseases.  He appeared in many media interviews on different infectious disease topics affecting the San Diego community. He was voted a top San Diego Infectious disease doctor in 2015, 2017, and 2021, 2023. He is married with four children. He enjoys writing, painting, playing chess, and sports.
